HOTEL BARCELONA - Late Check-Out DLC
Launches May 21 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S;
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 Versions Coming Soon
In March 2026, the game was substantially reworked and relaunched through the major Under New Management update, which refined core gameplay systems, balance, progression, and presentation while further realizing the creators’ original vision for the title.
Since the relaunch, player response has improved significantly, with recent Steam reviews trending strongly positive.

The Nightmare Continues
HOTEL BARCELONA - Late Check-Out DLC is not a side story.
It is a continuation of the descent.
The DLC pushes players beyond the hotel walls into two entirely new environments
designed to escalate tension, unpredictability, and survival pressure.
Players will explore:
Dusk Valley Golf Resort — an exposed hunting ground where open visibility
offers no safety
The Former Grandall Estate — a suffocating mansion filled with claustrophobic
encounters and relentless danger
The expansion also introduces:
2 new boss encounters
17 new enemy types
Additional story content and cutscenes
Expanded combat and environmental mechanics designed to challenge experienced players
Built as an escalation layer on top of the Under New Management update, Late
Check-Out intensifies the core identity of HOTEL BARCELONA: violent, strange,
stylish, and mechanically unconventional.

About HOTEL BARCELONA
HOTEL BARCELONA is a 2.5D action horror roguelite inspired by slasher films,
serial killer mythology, and surreal psychological horror.
Players control U.S. Marshal Justine Bernstein, whose mind is possessed by the
spirit of a serial killer known as Dr. Carnival. Together, they must survive an
ever-shifting hotel filled with traps, killers, and monstrous threats.
Failed runs return as armed “Slasher Phantoms” — echoes of previous attempts
that fight alongside the player in future runs — creating a unique layered
progression system that transforms death into momentum.
