Demo Available Now During Steam Next Fest
Blending atmosphere, mystery, and discovery, Birds Watching invites players into a world where observation reveals far more than expected.
Following the success of their psychological horror title Loan Shark, indie developer Studio Ortica returns with Birds Watching, a new atmospheric experience that invites players into a world shaped by observation, mystery, and quiet tension. The game launches on PC via Steam on March 6th, with a playable demo available now as part of Steam Next Fest.
After building strong momentum with Loan Shark, which earned a dedicated following and positive community reception for its unsettling tone and distinctive storytelling, Studio Ortica continues to expand its creative universe with Birds Watching. The new title shifts focus toward environmental storytelling and discovery, blending mood-driven gameplay with the developer’s signature psychological edge.
Players can experience a first look at the game today through the Steam Next Fest demo, offering an early taste of the atmosphere and mechanics ahead of launch.
Console players will not have to wait long. Dark Product will publish Birds Watching on console platforms, with releases planned for summer following the PC launch. Additional details on platforms and release timing will be announced at a later date.
